The Bromyard Speed Festival is a celebration of cars, all set against the backdrop of this charming town. It’s a chance to see incredible vehicles up close, with a non-competitive hill climb and scenic car tour through Herefordshire.
Expect plenty of action, paddock displays and a buzzing atmosphere filled with food, drink and trade stands. Whether you’re a car enthusiast or just fancy a fun day out, this event won’t disappoint!
Taking place over two days, visitors can experience the thrill of motorsport up close while enjoying the charm of Bromyard.

NOZSTOCK MUSIC FESTIVAL

Nozstock is back! Once a four-day festival, it returns this year as a one-day special, bringing the same magical mix of music, arts and quirky performances to Bromyard.
With multiple stages and entertainment for all ages, Nozstock is a celebration of creativity and community. Expect big tunes, plenty of surprises and the same charm that has made it a favourite over the years.

What started as a small gathering of folk enthusiasts in 1968 has grown into a festival showcasing folk artists from near and far. Attended by thousands of visitors each year, the local festival is known for its wide range of entertainment. From traditional ceilidhs and shanty sessions to live performances and more.
Beyond music there are a number of workshops held each year, covering anything from upcycled musical instrument making to acquiring circus skills. Foodies also get their fix with food stalls serving dishes from all around the world.

bromyard FOLK festival

Bromyard Pride

Bromyard Pride is a grassroots celebration of love, diversity and community, created by the people of Bromyard for everyone to enjoy. It’s a vibrant event filled with colour and fun, where the town comes together to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community.
Expect a lively atmosphere with plenty of activities, including a dog show, treasure hunts and The Great Bromyard Bake Off. There’s something for all ages and the event is a true reflection of the spirit about creating a welcoming space for everyone.

Organised by Bromyard Community Arts, the Bromyard Art Walk is a great way to enjoy local art while also exploring the town.
Many of our local shops, cafes and galleries will be displaying some of the amazing artwork created by our talented local artists.
You can wander through the town, take in the art and pop into different spots to support local businesses along the way.

Bromyard Christmas Lights

A team entirely made of volunteers build and erect the Christmas lights in Bromyard every year. The group has been in operation for nearly sixty years.
Our current members are a mix of people who are new to us, to those who are second and even third generation Christmas lighters and some who have been involved since the 1960’s. We all share the same passion of making Bromyard shine.
They operate as a non-profit making Company, “Limited by Guarantee”, known as the “Bromyard Christmas Lights Association Ltd”.

The Bromyard Christmas Tree Festival is a cosy celebration in the beautiful surroundings of St Peter’s Church. Local businesses and community groups decorate Christmas trees with creative themes, filling the aisles with festive charm.
Wander through the displays, enjoy live music, sip on mulled wine, and take in the holiday atmosphere. Prizes are awarded for the best-decorated trees and once the festival is over, some trees will be sold to raise money for local causes.

Scarecrow Festival

The Bromyard Scarecrow Festival, a unique and captivating event, brings together creativity and community spirit. Every year, a new theme inspires participants to craft scarecrows that reflect song/book titles, landmarks, or significant occasions. These imaginative creations are scattered throughout the town and showcased in shop windows.
The festival boasts engaging competitions, including a cryptic clue challenge for both adults and children. A panel judges the scarecrows, selecting the most outstanding ones to receive cash prizes.

The Bromyard Town Criers Festival is an unique event celebrating the traditional art of town crying.
During the festival, town criers take turns making their best proclamations, judged not only on their volume and clarity but also on style, content and the ability to captivate an audience.
Visitors can also enjoy a fantastic market with local crafts, food stalls and plenty of family-friendly activities.

TOWN CRIERS FESTIVAL

PARTY IN THE PARK

The final Party in the Park of the year is set to be a two-day celebration in Bromyard’s Kempson Playing Fields.
Saturday, 3rd May kicks off with a special event marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day—a chance for the community to reflect, remember and come together.
Sunday, 4th May brings the Party in the Park you know and love, with live music, food stalls and plenty of entertainment, all wrapped up in that classic Bromyard vibe.
This event is all about celebrating the town and raising funds for Kempson Playing Fields. Expect new acts, stalls and surprises to be announced soon!
