Destination Bromyard: A New Podcast Showcasing Herefordshire’s Best-Kept Secret

If Bromyard could talk, what tales would it tell? That’s the question behind the Destination Bromyard podcast, a new audio experiment capturing the people, places and stories that make our town such a hidden gem in Herefordshire.

Launched this week, the podcast is the audio equivalent of the Destination Bromyard website, social media and now magazine which offers engaging features and articles celebrating the area.

This first / pilot episode is a test run – a one-off (for now!) – and we’d love to know what you think. If it leaves you wanting more, let us know… we might just keep the mic on!

More Than Just a Tourist Destination

Bromyard has long been known for its black-and-white buildings, stunning countryside and rich heritage – but there’s so much more beneath the surface. In typical Bromyard fashion- independent, innovative and unapologetically bold – this new podcast invites listeners to experience the town’s essence through the voices of those who shape it.

The pilot episode takes listeners into the heart of local life with an intimate interview at The Rookery Woods – a peaceful retreat built with heart and grit by the owners Heather and Dale Badman.

A new way to explore Bromyard

Think of the podcast as a personal audio guide to Bromyard’s past, present and future – one that welcomes listeners into the heart of the vibrant town.

Available now on Spotify, the first episode shares the inspiring journey behind The Rookery Woods and the people who brought it to life.
